Oh, it's also recommended to start using Vortex when you're modding from scratch, as the import from NMM/MO2 is known to be a bit iffy.That is odd what I do is manual download and use nexus manager to instal especially big mods like Falskaar. So yes, Vortex is a lot better than NMM, and for the most part, safe to use. There are also some bugs though that can cause Vortex to fail for unknown reasons (some are really hard to pin down because they are one in a blue moon type of situations and as such, there's almost no information for the developer to work off of to fix it).
